Yes . . . there will be donuts!

The question I’ve been asked most often (other than “What’s the bike course going to be?“) is this:

Will there be Cumberland donuts?

I’m happy to say that the answer is a resounding YES.

Cumberland Village Bakery has graciously agreed to supply PACE Multisport Dodge City X athletes with the most famous donuts in the Comox Valley.

For those of you not in the know, by which I mean those of you who live outside of the Comox Valley (because everyone in theValley knows), “Cumberland donuts” have been the most sought-after local delicacy since the days when they were known as Auchterlonie donuts, after the then-owners of the bakery.

Just the right combination doughy deliciousness and finger-sticking glaze, glazed donuts from Cumberland Village Bakery are nothing short of divine. Especially after you just swam 1.5k, biked 23k and ran 9.5k!

And they’re going to pair magnificently with the fresh coffee we’ll have on hand from Cumberland’s Wandering Moose Café!

My son doesn’t think an event in Cumberland is worth attending if it’s without donuts from Cumberland Village Bakery. And while I’m hesitant to agree, I have to admit that they make any event better.

Thanks Cumberland Village Bakery for supporting our athletes!
