In addition to serving as the BC Cross Triathlon Provincial Championship event, Frontrunners Fit Chiropractic Dodge City X is once again a qualifier for the 2027 World Cross Triathlon Championship. With that event being held on local turf (Edmonton) next year, representing Team Canada has never been more attainable!

Here’s what you need to know if you’d like to qualify:

With the 2027 Multisport Worlds taking place in Edmonton, Triathlon Canada is anticipating a particularly busy year of qualifying. 

HOW TO QUALIFY: Triathlon BC has posted and continues to promote the qualifying procedure. A quick reference guide can be found on its website HERE.

EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (EOIs): EOIs will open three weeks prior to each qualifying event and close the Friday before. That means that if you want to qualify at Frontrunners Fit Chiropractic Dodge City X, your window to submit an EOI is August 22 to September 11, 2026.

Triathlon Canada says they’ll be strict about no late EOIs in 2026 given the expected size of the 2027 Team. Once available, we’ll post a link to the Triathlon Canada site where you can submit an EOI for our event on our Championships page.

BE A MEMBER! Please also note that, in order to qualify for Team Canada, you must be an annual member of a provincial governing body (e.g. Triathlon BC).
