Relay – Dodge City X

Want to do PACE Multisport Dodge City X but rather not have to swim, bike AND run? Enter your team of two or three in the PACE Multisport Dodge City X relay.

Relay teams will tackle the same Standard Course as individual athletes: a 1,500m swim through the glacier-fed waters of Comox Lake, an approximately 23 k mountain bike through Cumberland’s legendary trail network and a roughly 9.5 k trail run through the forests and hills overlooking Dodge City itself.

The race starts on the beach at Comox Lake and finishes in Village Park, in the heart of Cumberland.

How you divide up your team is entirely up to you – get a friend to brave Comox Lake while you bike and run, split it up three ways or do the swim and run while your partner in punishment tackles the mountain bike.

Relay Course Stats:

Fit Chiropractic Swim Course: 1,500 metres
Dodge City Cycles Bike Course: approx. 23k
Thomas Dargie IG Wealth Management Run Course: approx. 9k
Extreme Runners Transition Areas: 2

Please note that Relay participants must be at least 18 years old or turning 18 before December 31. Athletes who will be 16 by the end of the year can race our Sprint Course in its entirety. Have a 16- or 17-year-old who wants to do the swim portion of the relay? Please contact us.

If you want to do the bike and run but don’t have a swimmer to partner with, please visit our Facebook group dedicated to matching athletes with PACE Multisport Dodge City X athletes with relay teams.

Relay participants will use the same courses as our Standard course participants. For course details, visit our Standard Course race info page.
