Getting to Cumberland for Frontrunners Fit Chiropractic Dodge City X
Cumberland is part of the Comox Valley, on the eastern flank of central Vancouver Island. It’s located approximately 1 hour north of Nanaimo, 3 hours north of Victoria and just 2.5 hours from Vancouver’s Horseshoe Bay via Nanaimo.
Race Central and Extreme Runners T2 for Dodge City X will be at Village Park in Cumberland, which is shown on the map below. This will be your first stop to set up your bike/run transition before proceeding to Comox Lake for the race start.
Race Central & BodyNetix T2: Village Park, Cumberland
Once you’ve set up your bike-to-run transition at Village Park, you’ll take your race gear to Cumberland Lake Campground at Comox Lake, about 5 km from Village Park and an ideal easy warm-up ride.
Please note that parking at the lake will be limited, so athletes are encouraged to ride to the start or get dropped off by a supporter. Thanks to our rockstar volunteer crew, your transition items from BodyNetix T1 will be waiting for you at the finish area following the race. Make sure to thank them when you see them out on the course!
