Have you discovered the Frontrunners experience?

Those of you who have been familiar with our race over the past five years will have noticed a change this year, with two new co-title sponsors stepping up to support our event. We’d like to take a moment to introduce you to the two new title sponsors who have stepped up to support Frontrunners Fit Chiropractic Dodge City X, starting with the newcomer to our event: Frontrunners.

How well do you know Frontrunners?

Frontrunners, just a short drive down the Inland Highway in Nanaimo, is like the proverbial candy store to runners and triathletes. Not only do they carry a dizzying array of shoes from more than 10 of your favourite brands, but they also know what they’re talking about. Owners Norm Thibault and Stefan Jakobsen are avid endurance athletes (you’ll likely see at least one of them on our start line!), as are their staff. As a result, Frontrunners delivers the complete trifecta: Great products, down-to-earth advice, and lots of organic, spontaneous conversations about all the little things trail athletes love.

Oh, and did I mention they also carry a selection of wetsuits, goggles and other swim gear?

Locally owned; community driven

We were super stoked when we found out Frontrunners wanted to be a part of our event, because they’re such huge supporters of endurance events throughout Vancouver Island. Norm hosted the first Half Ironman in Victoria, he’s instrumental in the success of the popular Cross on the Rock cyclocross series, and Frontrunners banners can be seen flying proudly over many other trail races, adventure races, and other events across the Island. Norm and Stefan truly have built their business by supporting the communities they serve, and we couldn’t be more proud to partner with them.

Next time you’re passing through Nanaimo, swing by and say hi to the crew, thank them for supporting local events and treat yourself to that kid-in-a-candystore Frontrunners experience. They can be found at 101-1825 Bowen Road, or online at nanaimo.frontrunners.ca.
